This Plus Sized Fashion Blogger Recreates Celebrity’s Outfits to Suit Her Own Body, Proving That Fashion Really Is for Every Body

Have you ever looked at a celebrity’s style and wished you could pull off the same look? While many of us could put together an outfit similar to a celeb’s style and totally pull it off, it can be much harder for those of us who have a few extra curves here and there.

Fashion blogger Katie Sturino is determined to change all of that with her amazing Instagram account the12ishstyle. She has a series of photos called #SupersizeTheLook, where she recreates famous looks with her own size 12-ish (size 14-16 Australian) frame.

I can’t stop!! I have Royal Fever!! 👑👑👑👑👑#supersizethelook

Her images often come with body-positive messages and reminders that all of us can wear anything, that celebrity style can look amazing on all body shapes and sizes.

She has successfully copied Reese Witherspoon’s and Chrissy Teigen’s style, looking absolutely gorgeous.

And Real Housewife of New York Carol Radziwill:

She even gave herself the royal treatment with this look similar to Meghan Markle’s.

Giselle’s simple supermodel style is even up for “supersizing”. And how wonderful does Katie look?

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley’s look is replicated here:

Even the iconic Amal Clooney gets imitated by Katie!

She seriously looks fantastic!

What do you think of this Kendall Jenner look?

So often I catch myself thinking “uhh, I wish I could wear that” when I see gorgeous celebrity outfits. Katie Sturino is showing us all that it is entirely possible.

Fashion is for every body! Wear exactly what you like and ignore those voices (both others and your own) telling you that you have no business wearing certain looks.

I’ll leave the last word to Katie herself:

“It’s not about who wore it better, it’s a reminder that anyone can wear anything.”

Amen to that, sister!
