Bare Butt Jeans Have Hit The Market And We’re Convinced The Fashion World Has Lost It’s Mind!
I swear to God, sometimes I think fashion just likes to take the piss. Designers probably sit back in their studios laughing their heads off at the fact someone actually bought their outlandish designs!
Remember the clear knee jeans that were a thing for a whole two minutes last month? They featured plastic panels at the knees instead of just a gaping hole- you know in case it rained and you wanted to keep you knees dry! Seriously?!
Now French fashion brand Vetements (the people behind the velour Juicy Couture tracksuits) have given us a cheeky sneak peek at their newest pair of denim which can’t really be explained with words (hence all the photos). They’re a collaboration with Levi’s and they are like nothing you have ever seen before! The VetementsxLevis jeans not only feature zippers down the backs of the legs, but also a zipper right smack down the center of the butt.
And just in case you thought the zipper was purely ornamental and not to be worn open- well think again. It unzips to expose your buttocks. Because clearly boob cleavage and vag cleavage just weren’t cutting it anymore. It seems now we need bum-cleavage as well!
The reasons behind this ‘innovative’ pair of denims have me completely stumped. I mean are they meant to be worn out in public like that? Are they for a quick ‘entry’ quickie? Are they so you can do number twos without getting undressed? I don’t know people- I’m just throwing ideas out there!
