Pink’s Husband Carey Hart Under Fire Again For Sharing Video Of Daughter Shooting A Gun!

Carey Hart is in hot water again after sharing a video of daughter Willow shooting a rifle.

The 43 year old husband of singer Pink doesn’t seem to care what others have to say about him or his parenting skills and is quite proud of teaching his daughter how to use firearms.

Hart, a professional motocross racer shared the video of seven-year-old Willow to his Instagram account which showcases her shooting abilities. In the video, you can see a very focused Willow asking her dad “Can I go?” to which he replies “whenever you’re ready.”

Showing how knowledgeable she is around firearms, Willow asks “wait, is the safety on?” with dad behind the camera confirming that “it’s off”, before she continues.

The video was met with a lot of support from parents who say the dad of two is being a very responsible father.

“Keep up the good parenting,” said one.

“I am a proud girl that shoots and knows how to properly handle a firearm thanks to my dad!” added another.

“Right on, they need to know this stuff so when the time comes they can make the right decision and maybe save someone’s life,” one mother wrote. “Doing the same thing with my girls.”

Of course not everyone agreed that letting a youngster shoot a rifle was a great idea.

“Unless she loses control and shoots you in the face, all good,” one person wrote, to which Hart responded with “ignorant.”

“You’re some crazy parent letting Willow do that,” said another.

Hart says he prefers to educate his kids on how to use guns rather than risk them being in a situation where they don’t know what to do.He suggests other parents “start them young” on gun education and to try a gun range if they aren’t comfortable teaching kids about guns themselves.

“In America firearms are legal and not going away,” he said. “So I choose to embrace it. Take the taboo out. Educate them so they don’t become a statistic. Many forms of shooting are an OLYMPIC SPORT.”

Following on from the controversial video, Hart cheekily shared the above post which depicts a very old fashioned safety restraint! “Sorry, too soon from yesterday’s post?” he asks. Just a little bit Carey…just a bit.
