Sydney’s
children are in for a wide eyed two weeks, with top kids’ films screening for
FREE, outdoors at Darling Quarter.

The Little Darlings NIGHT OWLS
Kids Film Fest
screens over 14 nights (10 - 23 January, 2012).  Kids can
bring their mums, dads, brothers, sisters, grandparents and friends for some
free summer family fun kicking off at 6:45pm every night.

The film
festival has a cracking program, with everything from classics - The Sound of
Music
and The Wizard of Oz to modern hits - Happy Feet,
Tangled
and Despicable Me.
Grab a blanket and head down to the
Community Green precinct - part of the largest free children’s playground in
Australia - at Darling Quarter. There are prizes for “Best in Pyjamas” with
limited edition NIGHT OWLS T-shirts up for grabs.
Darling Quarter has loads
of family friendly places to grab a bite for hungry night owls. There’s noodle
and soup bar Box & Bowl, sushi hub Umi Sushi, and modern bistro with a
French twist - Fat Duck Rôtissoire Kitchen and plenty
more.

Festival fans can
also pick up an affordable range of Little Darling NIGHT OWLS picnic packs and
kick back on the grass to munch during the films.

The Little Darlings
NIGHT OWLS Kids Film Fest is an evening extension of a huge range FREE
entertainment happening at Darling Quarter during the January school holidays.

Families should also check out the FREE program of drumming with
Afro Beat, music workshops, dance classes by Brent Street Dance
School, family yoga and puppet making. Best of all it’s all
FREE.
Parking is available on sight for a $5 flat rate after 5pm on
weeknights and $5 all day for weekends.
