Help celebrate Go Play’s first birthday and win prizes

Go Play – the NSW Government’s online school holiday activity calendar – turns 1 in December.

Help celebrate by joining our virtual scavenger hunt through this popular site for the chance to win great prizes.

Go Play is an online school holiday calendar featuring art, culture, sport, recreational and other activities for kids of all ages across NSW. It is a ‘one stop shop’ listing hundreds of activities, primarily run by NSW Government organisations and agencies.

Since its inception more than 85,000 people have visited the site, and a further 2,500 people have downloaded the new, free iPhone application.

To join the birthday celebrations, simply download the scavenger hunt form from www.goplay.nsw.gov.au, search through the site to find the missing words, and colour in the activity sheet.  Send your folded booklet back to us for a chance to win the following:

• 0-4 years: Four show, family season pass to the 2012 Baby Proms hosted by the Sydney Opera House.

• 5-9 years: A Taronga Zoo Friends annual family membership.

• 10-14 years: Family passes to the Powerhouse Museum, The Sydney Observatory and an iPod Touch.

Entry is open to children aged up to 14 years and the competition runs from 21 December 2011 to 3 February 2012.

• Get up close and personal with the animals at Sydney’s Taronga Zoo,  a great place for a full day’s entertainment
