Summer Chills n Thrills at the Medibank Icehouse

To celebrate the summer holidays Medibank Icehouse will be hosting a variety of family friendly festivities as part of the Summer Chills n Thrills program.

From Monday 19^th December 2011 until Tuesday 31^st January 2012 families are invited to Medibank Icehouse for an unforgettable summer holiday experience.

The Summer Holidays Thrills n Chills program will include:

• Ice Tubing for kids - where they can ride inflatable tubes down the giant slide on to the ice
• Free demonstrations - by figure skaters and ice hockey players
• The Icehouse Yeti - who will be skating with visitors and handing out Christmas gifts
• FREE beginners lessons – where they can learn the basics of ice skating to feel confident on the ice
• Ice Ambassadors - will be on hand to help visitors improve their ice skating skills
• Father Christmas - who will be visiting each weekend in the lead up to Christmas

On New Year’s Eve, skate into 2012 with an Alcohol Free Crazy Hat Party!

• · A completely alcohol free event Medibank Icehouse will be the coolest place to welcome the New Year for young families and teens

• · There will be a DJ, dancing, on ice competitions, Glow lights and prizes given to the Craziest Hat!

• · Skip the city crowds and party in the Docklands, there is plenty of parking ($5 24 hour flat rate).
