Lauren Brant Asks For Help To Deal With Pregnancy!

Former Hi-5 star Lauren Brant has shared a candid Instagram post with her followers revealing she needs help to deal with her pregnancy.

The 27 year old reached out with a candid message saying she isn’t sure what is normal and what isn’t when it comes to being pregnant.

“Have I put on too much weight? Am I exhausted from growing a baby or just being lazy?” she asks, “I’m not seeing pregnancy glows, but I’m seeing a lot of pregnancy woes!”

The fact that Brant has moved states to be with her boyfriend may be adding to her sense of isolation and confusion.

“Having moved to a new state, I don’t know many people, never mind pregnant women…” she continued.

Mummies to be – although I don’t know you. I feel ya! I am just passed half way in my pregnancy and although I have always loved kids, wanted kids and can’t wait for my own… this whole pregnancy is a real journey. One that I have no idea about and am literally wading my way through. When there are weird feelings, random vomits and exhaustion, I just go with the flow. I’ve been really positive through everything this far, including the first 3 months of nausea. But today really tested me and I questioned a whole bunch of things, none of which I had the answers to as I’ve never been through this before…Have I put on too much weight? Am I exhausted from growing a baby or just being lazy? I’m not seeing pregnancy glows, but I’m seeing a lot of pregnancy woes! I see some super mums who don’t ever stop, right up until they have their baby and others who stay in bed for 9 months. Some have huge bumps, some have none. Some carry water retention, others are so slim! I have definitely learnt that every woman’s pregnancy is different and their pregnancy of each child can be different. But I still question whats right and wrong about mine? I’d love to hear from some other woman who have been or are pregnant? Having moved to a new state, I don’t know many people, never mind pregnant woman who I can discuss boobs, butts and bellys with! Thank you ladies xxx . . . #pregnancy #pregnancyjourney #motherhood #motherhoodunite #mothers #mumtobe #mumsupportingmums #22weeks #pregnancypower #pregnancyproblems #pregnancylife #pregnancyfitness #babybump #expecting #bubhub

Brant is currently dating former AFL star Barry Hall after having met on the 2015 series of I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here. To be closer to Hall, the kid’s entertainer moved away from her family and friends to be with her beau in Melbourne.

While in a recent social media post Brant says that Hall is “is my best friend, my partner and my love,” it is obvious she’s missing her girlfriends and support group while being pregnant.

“Tonight I not only told him that I love him, but I told him that I appreciate him and respect him as well. I have plenty more admirable comments for him, but those are two massive qualities to have for someone, and if you do – you should tell them,” she said of Hall.

The couple announced their pregnancy in New New Idea magazine last year and also shared an ultrasound photo on Facebook and Instagram.

“This is OUR OWN little baby. Barry and I are beyond excited to share this news. I just LOVE kids and I have dreamt of the day I will be able to have my own. Well, I have finally found the perfect partner who will also be the worlds best Dad, and we have been blessed with a little miracle. IM PREGNANT!”

The confusion Brant is feeling at the moment is perfectly normal for any first time mother who is both scared and amazed by the changes happening to her body.  By talking about those feelings and body challenges with other expectant mums we suddenly feel a sense of comfort in the fact that we are not alone.

We truly hope Brant finds her little village to help her through one of the most life changing and beautiful moments in a woman’s life.
